Casey Jones | Member Since 7 Jun, 2020Hello World Anvil! My name is Casey Jones, writer and World Builder from Saint Paul, Minnesota. I am 35 and I have been a life long fan of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror. I have always asked the question why, to the annoyance of those around me. It has become the central pilar of my world view. Why? Why is that person acting like that? Why did they put our city here? Why do people hunt deer? Why does a government hurt its people? I have always wanted to know the motivations that propel the world around me, and thus it has inspired my obsession with the creation of worlds.
Interests & Hobbies
In addition to the world of Fiction, I am an avid gardener and car guy. One of my biggest passions is restoring vintage Japanese Sports Cars.

A Song of Ice and Fire - in my opinion the greatest fictional universe ever created. The Dune Series (Frank's books, not Brians) - The second greatest fictional universe. The Malazan Empire books - One of the coolest Magic systems ever. 1984 - Taught me how to think, and that those in charge care far more about their power than they do about our standard of living. Animal Farm - Caused me to question the power structures of equality, giving me insight into how power was attained. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep - Caused me to question if I was real or a replicant. Real mind warp after reading this one.
