{"name":"Fibbing Frog","type":"Witchcraft","cost":"3","psi_cost":"","difficulty":"11","cast":"Immediate","range":"Touch","area":"Person","duration":"Month","reagents":"","effect":"The witch touches the lips of the victim while reciting the spell. From that moment and until the moon turns full, the victim cannot tell a lie without a black, slimy frog emerging in their mouth and forcing its way out through their lips. However, the victim can resist the spell by adding +6 difficulty to their Bluffing check when trying to tell a lie. If they succeed, they tell the lie without any frogs.[br]\r\n[br]\r\nIf they fail to tell the lie, the victim may instead attempt to swallow the frog. They must then make a mental save against 6. On a perfection, they swallow the frog and will just feel a bit nauseated. If they succeed the save, they have swallowed the frog unnoticeably, but will appear visibly unnerved and sick. If the save is a fail, the frog is swallowed, but the victim visibly gags and may possibly throw up. If the save is a fumble, they swallow the frog, but will violently vomit it back up.[br]\r\n[br]\r\nThe victim is in no way compelled to speak. They may opt to refuse talking at all. The spell only activates on trying to tell a lie, not avoiding to speak or withholding the truth without actively lying.","tags":"Witchcraft","isShared":"on","templateId":"165","blockId":"39079","world":"6e7c17ae-8739-42f5-bf54-936e75263181","folder":""}
