Riverside Inn

he Riverside Inn is located, as its name implies, on the banks of Karn's River just south of Jasric's Gate. For travelers entering the city through that gate, it is the nearest establishment that offers reasonable lodgings. And though the prices are a bit higher than those offered by several of the other inns in the town, many are willing to pay a bit extra for the riverside location and view.
The proprietor of the Riverside Inn is the Halfling Sophie Rosethorn. Sophie was the chief cook in the Riversife for years. When its previous owner died suddenly and without an heir, she was able to scrape together enough coin to purchase the business when it was auctioned off by city agents.
