Ferangeem is a spellcaster that uses Intelligence as his spellcasting ability (spell save DC 13; +5 to hit with spell attacks). Ferangeem knows the following spells from the Wizard Spell list:
Arcane Recovery. Once per day, Ferangeem can choose to regain a number of spell slots when he finishes a short rest. He can recover either 4 1st-Level spell slots or 2 2nd-level spell slots.
Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 3 Bludgeoning Damage. Arcane Ward. Ferangeem weaves a magical ward around himself that lasts until he finishes a long rest. The ward has 14 Hit Points. Whenever Ferangeem takes damage, he may choose to make the ward take the damage instead. If this damage reduces the ward to 0 Hit Points, Ferangeem takes any remaining damage. While the ward has 0 Hit Points, it can't absorb damage, but when Ferangeem casts a spell of 1st level or higher, it regains a number of Hit Points equal to twice the spell's level. Once he creates a ward, Ferangeem can't create it again until he finishes a long rest.
Shield. Ferangeem casts the Shield spell, expending a first-level spell slot.
