2-level Divination
Describe or name an object that is familiar to you. For the duration of the spell, you learn the direction and distance to the object named - if present within your vicinity - depending on the following circumstances:
You have seen in person the object before: Distances up to 5 miles.
You have seen an image of the object before: Distances up to 500 feet.
You have heard a description of the object before: Distances up to 60 feet.
As you can continually track your distance from the chosen object, you are aware whether the object moves and in which direction, but not by which means.
