Wondrous Item Magical Legendary [Transmutation]
Description: This item appears to be an over-sized iron key with a flat section inlaid with gems creating a stained glass effect. When used the gems glow with an internal light.
The Gemkey has four charges, restoring 1d2 at dusk every evening.
Petrification: Upon use the gemkey surges with energy to attempt to transmute a living thing into glass or obsidian. It automatically spends charges to do this once directed at an enemy. For each charge spent, the key rolls 3d10+10. After each charge is spent, if the total rolled is equal to or higher than the current HP of the target they are killed instantly and turned to obsidian if they are good, or glass if they are neutral or evil. If the total is less than their current HP, the key attempts to use another charge. If out of charges, all of them are consumed but no effect is caused.
