Using the magical power of The Narrator's quill, you have shared your mind with multiple others. These minds hold much power, but also have a strong will of their own. You might be able to harness some of this power to aid you, or it may overwhelm you causing terrible catastrophes!
Your mind homes multiple other powerful minds. You gain the following traits while you use your Borrowed Eyes feature.
Granny's Voice. You may attempt to harness the voice of Maerdyl. Make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw when you activate Borrowed Eyes, on a success you are able to create a safe space for people. For the duration you can choose to listen to Maerdyl, using her motherly words to lower your targets guard. If you speak to a sentient creature for at least 1 minute, you can attempt to seed trust and safety into its mind. At the end of the conversation, the target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw, the DC of which is determined by a contested Charisma (Persuasion) check from you. If the target fails, you can learn one fact or secret about a topic of your choosing if the target has any information.
Granny's Warmth. When you use an ability granted to you by the Mind of Maerdyl, you must make a Charisma saving throw with the DC determined by the feature. On a failure, the Mind of Maerdyl will take over your body and act for you for the remaining duration.
Charisma is your spellcasting ability for any spell that you cast through these traits.
Granny's Influence
5th-level trait
You can cast Flock of Familiars with this trait on a successful DC 15 Charisma saving throw. You can cast Flock of Familiars in this way a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
These familiars take the form of your watchers.
