Description

Fencers are usually bored nobles who can afford the tuition or specially trained soldiers. Edmund Monroe is another situation entirely. Trained from a young age by the masterful Sword of Dunhelm, Edmund quickly became one of the greatest swordsmen the peninsula has ever seen. He is light on his feet and quick with his blade, making the Red Saber a formidable ally, or a dangerous foe.

Fencing Style. When Edmund is using a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, it deals 2 extra damage with that weapon (included in the attack).

Actions

Rapier. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d8 + 7) piercing damage.

Bonus Actions

Healing Salve. Edmund can apply Healing Salve to one creature he can touch, healing 2d4+4 hit points, with the target gaining an additional 1d4 hit points at the start of their next turn.

Reactions

Parry. Edmund adds 2 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the fencer must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
