These five slender, magically charged darts are linked by a faint, constant glow that stores their latent electrical energy. Created by ingenious artificers, the Lightning Needles are designed for both precise strikes and tactical battlefield control. When not in use, the darts remain attached to a special glove or holder, ready to obey your commands.

Aftershock: When you hit a creature with one of these darts, it releases a sudden burst of electrical energy, dealing an additional 2 lightning damage on a hit.

Returning Call: As an action, you can wave your hand and command all Lightning Needles to return to your glove (or holder). The darts instantly fly back to you, untill they are within 1 mile of you.

Lightning Fence (2/day): As an action, you can command, “Create the Cage!” Any Lightning Needles that are not in their holder (including those lodged in creatures or objects) automatically connect with one another via faint, crackling lightning arcs, forming a network of electrical lines within a 30-foot radius of each other.

Any creature that starts its turn within a lightning line or touches one must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 lightning damage (half damage on a success).
A creature can be affected by this lightning fence only once per turn.
The effect lasts for 1 minute or until you dismiss it as a bonus action.
