History

This longsword was imbued with fey magic in a beautiful and enchanted flower field deep within the Feywild. The blade hums with life and whispers in floral dialects, capable of communicating with and commanding flowers.
The blade itself is a beautifull translucent blue color, while the sword's hilt looks like a green tree branch, with flowers of all color on the guard.

Abilities

Blood Petals. When you wound a creature with this weapon, the spilled blood transforms into coagulated blood in the form of rose petals.

Communion with Flowers. Once per long rest, you can spend 10 minutes in meditation with the sword to command its magic, selecting one of the following floral abilities. You retain this ability until your next long rest, when you can choose again.

Floral Abilities

You may use the chosen ability a limited number of times per long rest, as noted below:
Snow Petal Storm (1/long rest). As an action, you conjure a swirling storm of ice-petals, resembling the rare Ice Tear flower. Choose a point within 60 feet; a 15-foot radius globe is filled with a flurry of cold petals for 1 minute. This area is heavily obscured and counts as difficult terrain. A creature that starts its turn in the area or enters it for the first time on a turn takes 1d6 cold damage (maximum once per turn).

Fire Petal Burst (1/long rest). As a bonus action, you coat the blade in burning petals, mimicking the Summer Rose, a magical flower capable of producing heat. For the next minute, the next successful hit with this weapon deals an additional 2d6 fire damage. When you hit, the petals explode in a 5-foot radius around the target, dealing 1d4 fire damage to all creatures in range except you.

Wind Petal Path (2/long rest). As an action, you unleash a stream of wind-carried petals from the Flying Oras flower in a 30-foot-long, 15-foot-wide line. Moving against this path counts as difficult terrain, while moving in its direction allows creatures to move 2 feet for every 1 foot of speed spent. If you jump in the same direction as the wind, your jump distance is doubled.

Sun Petal Field (3/long rest). As a bonus action, you scatter glowing petals from the Sun Orchid in a 30-foot radius around you. The petals shed bright light in the area and dim light for an additional 10 feet. The light lasts for 1 hour or until dismissed as a bonus action.
