Once per day while holding this watery rod that is shaped like a key, you may empty it into an area that you choose, conjuring a wave of water up to 30ft. long, 10ft. wide, and 10ft. tall. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature taked 4d8 bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. On a successful save a creature takes half as much damage and isn't knocked prone. The water then spreads out across the ground in all directions, extinguishing unprotected flames in its area and within 30ft. of it and then vanishes. The rod is left cold and metallic, no longer holding its watery appearance. Each day at dawn, the rod refills and regains its watery demeanor.
