Generally solitary creatures, this off shoot of the Nathaione species are so named in reference to their most key and largest difference from their Nathaione kindred, that being they do not produce any sort of venom and rely entirely on their weapons and their steel like corded muscle, have the strength of larger more robust constrictors. |

Constrictive Coils: 5 feet reach, special attack. 1d20+16 If it hits, no damage, however the target is immediately grappled and pinned, needing to escape to take much any action as the Consnathaione entraps them with its powerful body in a constrictor like grip. Any attempts to escape it's grip are rolled against its creature DC, which is 24. A creature that is critically struck by this attack is immediately subjected to the Consnathaione's constrictive grip damage. This attack is unavailable if they currently have a target grappled and under the effect of constrictive grip already.
Bite: Basic attack, they have a stronger bite force than most Nathaione, but lack any venom. 1d20+14 to hit. Deals 1d8+6 piercing damage. |
Special Abilities | Tough Hide (2): Though they have a humanoid torso and head, Nathaoine seem to have a thick snake like skin, very tough and reptilian like, which provides them a level of natural body armor. They have +2 natural armor boost to their AC.
Serpentine Swiftness: Nathaoine get to add their Dexterity Boost to initiative rolls. Also 1/round they may activate Sudden Strike making a Bite or Constrictive Coils attack against a target whom attempts to attack them in melee, move into or out of melee range of them.
Corruptive Resistance: Like most Bestials and other mutated beasts so 'blessed' they reduce the effects of corruptive influence such as from Scars upon Reality, by one step.
Ambush Damage: Consnathaione are masters of stealth. In regards to Ambush damage, they have access and use of the Scoundrel ability as well, however they deal 2d6 extra damage when they trigger it. Furthermore it automatically applies to their Constrictive Grip damage if that is the first damage they are dealing on their turn
Constrictive Grip: Once a target is grappled successful utilizing the Constrictive Coils attack, at the start of that creature's turn they can attempt a DC 25 Acrobatics or Athletics to escape. This is a flat check, and takes . Furthermore, if the Consnathaione starts its turn with a creature entrapped by its Constrictive Coils, they may choose to trigger this ability. It is an attack, has the Open trait and takes The target automatically takes 2d10+6 bludgeoning damage and triggers Ambush damage automatically if applicable. With a creature so grappled, this does halve all the Consnathaione's movement speeds (their climb speed becomes 5 feet)
Paralyzing Gaze: This is a special ability the Nathaoine possess, the way their upper body sways back and forth somewhat hypnotic. This is a special sort of ability they target upon any creature within sixty feet they can see that must be able to see them. At the cost of they may attempt to activate this. The creature targeted must attempt a Will Save against DC 25. If they critically fail, the target is entirely hypnotized, lost in the motion, and becomes Stunned [3]. If they simply fail, they become Stunned [2]. If the target succeeds they become Stunned [1]. If they critically succeed then they suffer no ill effect, but are vulnerable to ambush damage from the Nathaoine for the rest of this turn.
Blind Sense: Due to their snake tongues and the biological traits and sensory attributes they share with actual snakes, the Nathaoine are unaffected by the light or darkness in how they perceive the world, not really relying on eye-sight. They suffer no Perception penalties or restrictions under any level of darkness.
Cold-Blooded: The Nathaoine are cold-blooded, truly reptilian, and do not handle the cold well in any way. Any Nathaoine whom suffers cold damage immediately is afflicted with Slow [1] Condition.
Reach: Due to their serpentine bodies, Nathaoine naturally have Reach of 5 feet with their melee attacks. |
