You open a channel to the Veil and call forth the soul of a creature that has died within the last 10 years. The soul appears in incorporeal form and can communicate freely with you and up to eight willing creatures.   It is not bound or compelled to help, its attitude depends on how it was treated in life but it speaks truthfully.   The spirit cannot be attacked, targeted by magic, or compelled against its will. At the end of the duration, it departs, and cannot be summoned again by this spell for 1 year.
