4-level Enchantment

Duration: Permanent or until broken

You inscribe a magically binding pact between two creatures. The terms must be spoken aloud, signed in blood, and willingly accepted. Once sealed, the contract is magically upheld. While the pact is active, the warlock gains advantage on Insight and Persuasion checks against the bound creature and always knows the creature’s general direction as long as they are on the same plane.
The other creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, it is cursed for the duration of the contract. If the cursed creature breaks the pact in any way, they suffer 8d8 shadow damage, and the warlock may cast Suggestion on them as a reaction without expending a spell slot. Additionally, the warlock immediately gains 1 permanent Soul Shard, as the violator’s soul is briefly claimed by the infernal pact.
Only one creature may be affected by Infernal Pactscribe at a time. A new pact ends any previous one.
