Damage/Effect: Lightning and fire

You gather volatile lightning in your palms or in the air near you, compressing it into a crackling mass. The friction and heat generated by this concentration ignite the surrounding air, fusing flame and storm into a single blast. You unleash this elemental force in a 20-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d6 lightning damage and 2d6 fire damage, or half as much on a successful one. Creatures wearing metal armor, make the save with disadvantage, as the lightning seeks out conductive targets. Flammable objects in the area that aren’t being worn or carried ignite.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the lightning damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
