Burning Bolt
0-level (Cantrip) Evocation
You imbue a piece of ammunition with fiery potential and make a ranged attack using the standard properties of the weapon used in the spell’s casting. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects, and objects in a 5-foot cube around the target that are flammable and not being worn or carried are ignited. Hit or miss the ammunition is consumed.
At 5th-level, the cube expands by 5-foot on each side and the attack deals an additional 1d8 fire damage to the target on a hit (10-foot cube, 1d8). The cube expands by 5 feet and the damage increases by 1d8 at 11th-level (15-foot cube, 2d8) and 17th-level (20-foot cube, 3d8).
