When wielding this staff, the wielder gains a +2 to Spell Attacks and Spell DC. Additionally, when the staff is subject to a spell that increases Melee Weapon damage (such as Shillelaigh), it gains an additional dice of damage.

When the Twilight Elves began their war of extinction against the surface races, they fashioned weapons of war from the very stuff of the abyss itself. This Warstaff is the product of a long-dead Twilight Elf Druid, who chained the very essence of Zuggtmoy herself within its black, wood-like structure.

It seems to be constantly damp and clingy to the touch, while its head is ready to twist into a scythe should its master require a weapon for slaying lesser races.
