0-level (Cantrip) Evocation
Invoked [Cost: 2] - When invoked, this rune unleashes a bolt of lightning in the direction you are facing when you invoke the rune. The bolt is 5 ft. wide and travels in a straight line up to 60 ft, and creatures caught in its path must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 4d8 lightning damage. The bolt ignites flammable objects in its path that aren't worn or carried.
Scribed [Cost: 2] - When scribed onto a surface or an object, it becomes electrified. While electrified, any creature that starts their turn touching an electrified object or surface, or standing on an electrified surface, must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 2d8 lightning damage and become incapacitated until the start of their next turn. The surface remains electrified while you concentrate, up to 1 minute. Cannot be scribed onto a creature.
Synthesis [Cost: 3] - Combining this rune with a scribed or invoked rune allows you to scribe or invoke that same rune an additional time at another point you can see within 15 ft. of the original scribed or invoked rune's location. Scribed runes duplicated by this rune cannot target a creature more than once.
