Run'dama (Wood)

0-level (Cantrip) Transmutation

Casting Time: 1 action
Components: Somatic

Invoked [Cost: 2] - When invoked, a small tree rapidly grows at the location of invocation. The tree grows to 20 feet tall, and by default will be an oak tree, but its species can be changed using your Runic Procedures. This rune can only be invoked in an area where there is soil. The tree will continue to grow at a natural rate once it appears.

Scribed [Cost: 2] - When scribed, this rune imparts the properties of wood onto the scribed object, surface, or creature. While affected, the target gains vulnerability to fire and becomes flammable, as well as resistance to lightning. Additionally, its AC can't be less than 16. Affected materials can also be carved like wood. A number of cubic feet of material equal to your Rune Potency can be affected, or a creature of a size determined by your Rune Potency: Small (1-2), Medium (3-6), Large (7+). This rune requires concentration and can affect the target for up to 1 hour.

Synthesis [Cost: 2] - Combining this rune with a scribed or invoked rune causes all other runes within 120 ft. that have not yet been activated to immediately be triggered.
