You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this maul and when you deal melee damage with it you deal an additional 1d6 fire damage.

Additionally you deal siege damage to objects and when you hit a creature or object of a size category larger then your own with this weapon, the creature or object takes an extra 2d6 bludgeoning damage and must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or have the Prone condition.

When you strike aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, iron, or steal with this weapon, you may weld the metal object to another metal of the ones listed, combining the metal objects into one metal object.

Once forged by a union of dwarven followers of Murdal - The Builder and Red Dragonborn followers of The Hexmatic, Meldspar was once the ceremonial great hammer of union, given to the mightiest craftsmith and rune weaver of Tethlgrad as a token of unity and comradery between the clans of old. As the Maul has changed hands over the years, it found it's way into the hands of the finest craftsmith of the current years, Akra Daar, at least until his recent and peaceful death.
