Description

Krathkons are part of the religious caste in the Stahlcren's realm, and as such they play a major part in the resurgence of the species. Understood as the "Friend of Death", the Krathkon also is a catalyst in the creation of their own species and the actual amount of the population correlates quite heavily due to the activity of the Krathkons themselves. Stahlcren rely on the presence of the Krathkons and even while their duties are able to be completed by the most basic of the species, they have nonetheless nearly perfected the art of their reproduction process.   In combat, a typical Krathkon does not present an overwhelming presence or threat to mortal beings, yet what they can do that does terrify many is their ability to reanimate creatures at their will. Even in the midst of the fighting, if there are undead nearby that have been assaulted previously and remain dormant, they can be revived, usually at a portion of their original unholy health. This is performed at the understood desire of the Krathkon in reference, and it can shift the conditions of battle.   Krathkons are Level IV Stahlcren.   Gear: Krathkon-Stal (Quarterstaff), Krypmetall (Medium)

Ideals

Duty. (Creation) Krathkons are indebted to their own species to continue the longevity of their kind, and perform to the best of their ability to do so.

Bonds

Crypt. (Personality) The Krathkons are likewise indebted also to their crypt, which is the location of their greatest work. They are responsible for the creation of their own kind, and take it on with great consideration.

Flaws

Inexperience. (Occupation) In their duties of making the species more powerful and numerous, the Krathkon typically does not venture out from their temple and frolic in the world outside. There is much that is unknown to them.

Suggested Environments

Crypts and the cities of the Stahlcren are frequent locations of the undead clerics, and with that it is commonly known that they can be found there. Aside from that, they also assist with the armies of the species and occasionally can be seen with a sizable legion of their species. They are seen in locations of mountainous terrain, tundras, forests, urban locations and rural, and sometimes in plains or flatlands.

1/day: Deathly Usurpation.
Targets of 3 hostile creatures must make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw. If a failure occurs, the targets have disadvantaged attack rolls against Stahlcren allies. This effect lasts until the targets succeed at the saving throw or successfully attack the Krathkon and it fails a concentration check. Otherwise, it lasts up to one minute.


Unique Traits.
Lebtmetall.
Every 2 turns while in combat, a Stahlgart can regenerate 2d8+8 HP on the beginning of its turn. This cannot be inhibited, until they are incapacitated and die.
Faithful of the Dark Legion.
A Krathkon has the ability to revive nearby Stahlcren, in addition to other undead creatures, according to its will. As an action, a Krathkon is able to reanimate 4 1d4+2 Undead creatures instantaneously, within a range of fourty feet. This can be used again after a rest constituting eight hours.
