ARMOR LEGENDARY MAGICAL HEAVY Requires Attunement

This heavy armor consists of adamantium plates layered over each other, the seams of each plate shimmering a pale blue. The inside of each plate is marked with glowing runes. Includes gauntlets, boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armour.

Doffing

After attunement, you can doff this armour as a magic action. When you do so, choose whether to doff it normally (as standard cast-off armour) or as a projectile.

Doffing as a projectile: the armour splits into 8 equal pieces and explodes away from the wearer's body in all directions, with enough force to land 30 feet away. Anyone in the way of the pieces must make a Dexterity saving throw or take bludgeoning damage based on how far away they are from the wearer:

  • 5 feet: DC 20 saving throw, 3d6 bludgeoning damage and knocked prone
  • 10 feet: DC 15 saving throw, 2d6 bludgeoning damage
  • 15 feet or farther: DC 10 saving throw, 1d6 bludgeoning damage

After being doffed, the user will have to collect all 8 pieces and reassemble them using a magic action.
