The Menschen are the steadfast defenders and honorable knights of Akerlan, their lives shaped by tradition, faith, and the enduring rhythms of the land and the code of chivalry. Among the Menschen, the ideals of knighthood—courage, loyalty, justice, and self-sacrifice—are instilled from youth and revered in every household, not only among the nobility but throughout the villages and towns. Their society prizes martial skill, the protection of the weak, and the upholding of oaths, with generations of Menschen serving as guardians, champions, and paragons of virtue in the name of their gods and ancestors.
