Special Maneuvers
Lunging Thrust - Step forward 5 feet to make an attack against an opponent within 10 feet of you and return to where you were standing without using movement or provoking opportunity attacks. This maneuver can be performed once per turn.
Parry - When an opponent attempts to attack you in Melee range, you may attempt to intercept the attack and use your Reaction. Make an attack roll against the target, if your attack roll beats theirs, you parry the attack and deflect the blow, taking no damage.
Piercing Strike - Make an attack with the tip of the blade for 2d8 AP IV Piercing damage.
Pommel Strike - Make an attack with the pommel at the base of the hilt for 1d8 AP III Bludgeoning damage. If successful, the target cannot take reactions until the start of your next turn.
Riposte - Immediately after a successful parry, make a melee attack against your attacker.
Sweeping Attack - As an attack while the weapon is held in both hands, make a sweeping attack with the blade, dealing 2d8 AP I Slashing Damage to up to three adjacent targets within 5 feet of you. Each target must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Your Proficiency Bonus + Your Strength Modifier or take damage. Once you have used this maneuver, you must wait until after the end of your next turn before you can use it again.
Special Properties:

Hemorrhaging - Targets struck by this weapon must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Strength Bonus or take 1d8 Bleed damage. Fae and Mutant targets have disadvantage on their saving throws against this property.
Meteoric Iron - This weapon is built with iron enhanced through magic. Striking a target that is normally resistant to physical damage with this weapon bypasses that resistance and deals an additional +1 damage. Fae targets take +2 damage. Inside an MEZ, this bonus does not apply.
Handling: 1-Handed
A one-handed broadsword designed specifically for the express purpose of self defense, this weapon can be used to potentially block melee attacks and punish opponents but is also used in ceremonial dances by the Ishumari. It is a culturally significant weapon which is almost always sheathed given Ishumari beliefs surrounding touching iron directly. The Takoba is forged by specialists among the Ishumari, referred to as Inhaden, who have undergone rituals which allow them to enhance the iron from which it is made. When the blade cuts, it cuts deep and leaves grievous wounds.
