This slick and light shield is made from a mixture of mithral, silver and fine leather. The design is simple with the entire shield being curved towards its center like a bowl. The shield has a scroll’s worth of arcane runes inscribed into the metal on the inside of the shield.

While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.

Back-at-ya. When a ranged spell attack misses you, you can use your reaction to send the spell back at the target. When you do so, the original creature then becomes the spell’s new target, instead of you. The spell’s attack roll is rerolled against the chosen creature. If you are a spellcaster and your attack modifier is higher than the original attack modifier, you can use your attack modifier instead, but the spell gains none of your other effects when doing so.
