  • Feint - Make a shimmering motion with the Machete in your main hand against an opponent in melee range as a Bonus Action to goad them into attacking more predictably. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Your Proficiency Bonus + Dexterity modifier or be fooled. If the target has failed their saving throw, when the target next attempts to attack you, you will automatically succeed on a parry.
  • Parry - When an opponent attempts to attack you in Melee range, you may use this weapon if it is in your main hand to attempt to intercept the attack and use your Reaction. Make an attack roll against the target, if your attack roll beats theirs, you parry the attack and deflect the blow.
  • Riposte - On successful parry, you may attempt attack the target that attacked you by using your machete.

  • Hemorrhaging - Targets struck by this weapon must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Strength Bonus or take 1d6 Bleed damage
  • Special Grip - This weapon's notch in the base of the blade prevents disarmament and slippage.
  • Survival Tool - Can be used to give advantage on Survival checks when gathering food, wood, or organic materials

    This curved blade is a very versatile tool which can serve several purposes, but it is primarily a chopping weapon. Its heavier curved portion of the blade makes it an excellent chopping tool similar to an axe or a machete. When using it as a tool for gathering from animals or plants, you get advantage on Survival checks. It is also a weapon that cannot be disarmed thanks to its notch in the base of the blade. It has been commonly seen in the hands of a special Taala-Rasa task force who are truly unafraid of death.
