Special Maneuvers
Guided Burst - Fire a three-round AP V burst with a bonus of +8 to hit before moving on your turn.
Combined Explosion - As a Bonus Action or when you reload the weapon, you may choose to emit a charged signal directed at the embedded crystals in a chosen target within your effective range. There must be two or more crystals embedded in the target. For each additional crystal shard embedded in the target, you deal 1d4 Thunder and 1d4 Lightning damage and add 5 feet to the explosion's radius. You can detonate up to 5 embedded crystals at a time, dealing a maximum of 5d4 Thunder and 5d4 Lightning damage in a 25 foot radius, centered on the target. The target that the shards were embedded in automatically fails their saving throw. Any targets inside the radius must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Dexterity or Spellcasting Modifier. On a successful save, a target only takes half damage. This combinatory explosion deals unmitigated damage to vehicle paneling. If a target receives two successful consecutive attacks, the crystal fragments detonate.
Redirect Crystals - If you miss your intended target when making an attack, you may redirect the crystal fragments by spending a Bonus Action to activate their semi-sentient homing capabilities and choose another target further than the intended target. Make an attack roll without your Proficiency Bonus against the second target.
Special Properties
AP IV
Heat-Seeking - Projectiles fired from this weapon home in and will automatically strike living or hot targets within 30 feet of the operator. All targets beyond that range must have attack rolls made against them. The weapon makes a chime when it detects a valid target within range.
Magecraft Weapon - This weapon is enhanced through magic. Each attack deals an additional +2 damage. Aberrant targets take +4 damage. Inside an MEZ, this bonus does not apply. You may make your attack rolls with this weapon with your Spellcasting modifier, if you can cast spells.
Sundering I
Volatile Rounds - The projectiles fired by this weapon can be detonated by Thunder or Lightning damage once embedded in a target. They can also be manually detonated by using one of the special maneuvers or reloading.
Loading: Uses a Bonus Action (D&D 5e), or a single Action Point (PF2E) to reload. When you reload, you detonate embedded crystal shards.
Jamming: On a critical failure, roll a 1D4, lands on a 1, the weapon is jammed and requires a bonus action (D&D5e) or an action point (PF2E) to clear the jam

The Koleos-designed magecraft splintergun is a repeater that launches semi-sentient homing Aetherion crystal shards that can supercombine and cause a chain reaction if enough Aetherion splinters hit or if a signal to agitate the crystals is sent. It is said to be a weapon that only the Koleos are capable of using due to their established connection to the crystals. The fragments of the crystals float above the weapon's embedded channels in its angled wealdstone 'receiver', glowing blue, then are pulled through the channels and fired out an ornate, wedge-shaped alloy protrusion from the weapon. When the Koleos reload the weapon, they simply grab a handful of crystal fragments and release them above the weapon, then they float into place above the circular channels, aligned vertically and perpendicular to the receiver. These crystal fragments glow red when they are about to detonate.
