  • Aimed Shot - Fire a single shot with +5 bonus to hit as an attack before moving on your turn.
  • Spirit Burst - While a Nahtuil Shard is embedded in a target, you can use this maneuver as a Bonus Action. Unleash the energy stored in the Nahtuil Shard, dealing 2d12 Force damage in a 10 foot radial sphere, adding another 1d12 Force damage and 5 feet to the radius for each charge stored. All targets in the radius aside from the one the shard is embedded in must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your chosen Ability Modifier or Spellcasting modifier. The target that the shard is embedded in automatically fails its saving throw and takes the rolled damage. On a failed save, a target is knocked prone and takes the rolled damage. On a successful save, a target only takes half damage.
  • Spirit Siphon - After making a successful attack, the Nahtuil starts siphoning the lifeforce of the target it is embedded in, sapping 1d12 HP at the start of each of the target's turns, adding another damage dice to the Spirit Burst maneuver. Each turn it spends embedded in a target also adds 5 feet to the radius of the Spirit Burst. The maximum number of charges the Spirit Siphon adds to the Spirit Burst is an amount equal to your Proficiency Bonus. Multiple Nahtuil Shards can be embedded in the target, but will not increase the radius more than the radius of a single Spirit Burst. The target may attempt to remove a Nahtuil Shard from itself at the end of each of its turns as a Strength Saving Throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your chosen Ability Modifier or Spellcasting modifier. On a successful removal, the Nahtuil Shard expends its stored energy as an uncharged Spirit Burst.
  •   Special Properties
  • Armor Piercing II (If inside an MEZ)
  • Lunaea Spirit-Weapon - While wielded by a Lunaea, they can choose to instead deal their Discipline's element in place of the typical Force damage, adding one damage dice to the roll. Broadwings can deal Radiant damage, Sablewings can deal Acid damage, Scorchwings can deal Fire damage, and Voltwings can deal Lightning damage.
  • Magecraft Weapon - This weapon is enhanced through magic, granting a +1 bonus to hit with your attack rolls and damage rolls made with it. Striking a target that is normally resistant to physical damage with this weapon bypasses that resistance. This does not affect Armor Grade. Undead targets take +2 damage instead of the usual +1. The Nahtuil Shard becomes inert and instead only deals 2d12 AP II Piercing Damage while inside an MEZ.
  • Stealthy - Firing this weapon does not alert enemies that are outside of initiative or when you attack while hidden. After attacking, roll a Stealth check versus the target's Passive Perception.
  • Sundering I
  •   Loading: Requires a Bonus Action to recall all Nahtuil shards to the launcher. When you recall all Nahtuil Shards, the Spirit Burst activates.   Jamming: This weapon does not jam.   Handling: 2-handed

This Lunaea weapon, referred to as a Nahtuil, is a launcher that uses arcane inscriptions and alternating gravitic magic to launch a long projectile, called a Nahtuil Shard, of inscrutable make. The Nahtuil Shard's launch is completely silent. It is held like a long rifle. The Shard has its own magical charge which can be detonated to unleash a blast of force magic via a signal produced by the Nahtuil. The Shard saps the life force of the victim, charging its own strength each turn it spends embedded in the victim. When it is removed from the victim, the Shard unleashes all stored energy. It is presumed the Shard is made from a compound derived from Lunaea wing scales and infused with magic. The Shard can be retrieved telekinetically by the weapon from a great distance and slotted back into the weapon after its charge has been unleashed. If wielded by a Lunaea, it is capable of unleashing magic based on their chosen spirit source.
