Direct Hit: Instead of designating a point within range, make an attack roll against a chosen target within range. If the target is hit successfully, the target will take 1d8 AP I Bludgeoning damage plus your Strength modifier. Otherwise, the grenade will continue until its maximum distance or an obstacle is reached and then detonate.
Special Properties
Expanding Smoke - The smoke grenade produces a cloud of thick smoke for 1 minute, of a color of your choosing, spread out in a 10 foot radius, originating from the detonation point. The sphere spreads around corners, and its area is heavily obscured. It lasts for the duration or until a wind of moderate or greater speed (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses it. At the start of each of your following turns, it expands by 10 feet, until it reaches a 30 foot radius.
Light - One can be held in each hand.
Pyrotechnic - This grenade can light flammable objects on fire that are in the same space as the grenade when it detonates. Roll a 1d4, if it lands on a 4, any flammable objects inside the space are ignited.
Recyclable - After use, add one mundane metal material to your inventory.
Thrown - This device can be thrown up to 45 feet away.

A utility device meant to provide a smoke screen to misdirect enemies or provide cover, this cylindrical steel-cased grenade emits smoke from holes in its top and bottom once deployed. While it is designed not to cause fires, it still has the potential to do so. This particular design uses hexachloroethane-zinc and aluminum dust to produce its smoke. It can also be dyed to produce many different colors to provide signals.
