A strange set of metal strips that wrap and encompass around clockwork mechanics that take up the shape of an orb, setting off certain mechanics and magics for time warping effects.

The Wind-Up Orb has to be wound up using 1 to 3 actions before the Release action can be used.

The Wind-Up Orb can be used for a total of 3 actions each day before it locks up, such as using a 2 action and 1 action Prep Overwrite action in the same day. 1 minute can be spend to unwind the orb without spending a Release action to undo it. Any Prep Overwrite action still in place slowly unwinds itself by the end of daily preperations.

The amount of actions spent determines the kind of Overwrite is prepped and the effect that happens when Released, which can be found listed below:

  Activate- Prep Overwrite -Frequency.three actions total per day.Effect. You twist the metal slips and lock it into one of three unique positions. Using this action allows you to use the Release action and set off an effect depending on how many actions were spent on this action, as listed below:  
    - Minor Overwrite When activated with Release, roll can take a circumstance penalty or bonus of 2.   - Moderate Overwrite When activated with Release, roll can take a circumstance penalty or bonus of 5.   - Major Overwrite When activated with Release, the degree of success can be changed by one degree.
  Activate- Release Effect. A d20 roll of your choice is effected by the Prep Overwrite that you chose beforehand.
