Yuan's Spectral Armour
0-level (Cantrip) Conjuration
Ritual - does not require spell slot, takes 10 minutes longerReciting the ancient phrases, lighting the séance candles in the manner demarcated within the grimoire, a blast of light emanates from the ring around you, wreathing you in a spectral shroud.
During the duration of this spell, you have a natural AC equivalent to 11 + your Dexterity bonus, effectively as if you were wearing Leather Armour.
You may gain AC bonuses from other sources such as the Shield spell, a shield or other magical items, however you may not cast spells such as the Armour of Agathis upon yourself; effectively any spells that would enchant the physical armour you wear may not target you.
Whilst this spell is in effect you do not need to maintain concentration upon it, however you may cancel its effects at will at any point; additionally, it automatically cancels if you take a long rest.
If cast with a 1st Level spell slot, you instead have a natural AC equivalent to 13 + your Dexterity modifier, as if you were wearing a Chain shirt.
If cast with a 2nd Level spell slot, you instead have a natural AC equivalent to 15 + your Dexterity modifier, as if you were wearing Half-plate.
If cast with a 3rd Level spell slot, you instead have a natural AC equivalent to 16 + your Dexterity modifier, as if you were wearing a +1 Half-plate magical armour.
If cast with a 4th Level spell slot, you instead have a natural AC equivalent to 18 + your Dexterity modifier, as if you were wearing a +3 Half-plate magical armour.
Upcasting at 5th level and beyond will have the same effect as at 4th Level, but will also afford a +1 to your Dexterity saving throws equal to the spell slot - 4 (e.g. +5 for a 9th, +2 for a 6th).
