Acid Rain
3-level Conjuration
Casting Time: 1 action
Range/Area: 120 ft (10-foot tall, 60-foot radius cylinder)
Components: Verbal, Somatic
Duration: 10 minutes (requires concentration)
Attack/Save: DEX save
Damage/Effect: acid
A dark, looming cloud appears in the shape of a cylinder that is 10 feet tall with a 60-foot radius, centered on a point you can see within range directly above you. The spell fails if you can’t see a point in the air where the storm cloud could appear (for example, if you are in a room that can’t accommodate the cloud). At the beginning of each of your turns for the duration, creatures underneath the cloud that don't have at least half cover take 1d4 acid damage.
When you cast the spell, as well as as an action on each of your turns until the spell ends, you can choose a point that you can see underneath the cloud. A sphere of acid is hurled down from the cloud to the point, forcing all creatures within 5 feet of that point to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 5d4 acid damage, taking half damage on a successful save.
At higher levels: At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage of the acid sphere increases by 2d4 for each slot level above 3rd, and the damage dealt by the acid rain at the beginning of your turns increases by 1d4 for every two levels above 3rd.
