You gain the following benefits. Ability Score Increase Increase your Strength or Constitution score by 1, up to a maximum of 20. Full Ballistic Shield Proficiency With this feat, you can operate the shield with just one hand, leaving your other hand free to make 1-handed attacks. Improved Cover The cover provided by the Full Ballistic Shield is increased by a factor of 1, meaning that while lowered, the Full Ballistic Shield provides Medium Cover, and while raised, the Full Ballistic Shield provides Full Cover. Targets above you do not reduce your Cover by a factor of 1. Shield Bash While you have a shield equipped, you can perform a Shield Bash melee attack as a Bonus Action using your Strength modifier, dealing 1d6 AP II Bludgeoning damage on a successful attack and Staggering your opponent.
