You summon the power of the very stars to punish your enemies. When you cast the spell, choose a point you can see within range. A 20-foot-radius disk filled with bright stars appears 50 feet directly above that point. The spell fails if you can’t see a point in the air where the disk could appear (for example, if you are in a room that is not tall enough or wide enough to accommodate the disk). Each creature in a 50-foot tall, 20-foot-radius cylinder centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 6d6 radiant damage on a failed save as shooting stars fall from the disk into the ground at rapid speeds, or half as much damage on a successful one.
On each of your turns until the spell ends, you can use your action to move the disk up to 20 feet and to call down the starfall in this way again. If you are outdoors at night with a clear sky when you cast this spell, you syphon the energy of the actual sky instead of using the disk to conjure the stars. Under such conditions, the spell’s damage increases by 1d6.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
