| Description | A spell to send many messages at once devised by Marvin after he got tired of repeatedly casting the Message cantrip to call for his various servants, aids, and advisors. You mouth words quietly, but instead of coming out of your mouth, they're turned into a shard of illusory magic that fires itself at a target that gets transferred directly to the ears of the target. While others can't hear your words any better than if you normally mouthed them, the target can hear your words as if they were standing next to you. The target can give a brief response as a reaction, or as a free action on their next turn if they wish, but they must be within range to do so. If they respond, their response is delivered directly to your ear, just like the original message. The original message and it's response must be 25 words or fewer. The shard automatically finds its target, if you know the target well, the shard travels around corners to reach the target, bending around walls and obstacles; this means you don't need a straight line of effect or line of sight to cast message as long as you know the target's space and there is an unblocked path of 120 feet or less that can reach them. For each additional action you use when Casting the Spell, increase the number of shards you shoot by one, to a maximum of three shards for 3 actions. You choose the target for each shard individually. If you shoot more than one shard at the same target, you can extend the message by 25 words per action used. Heightened (+2) You fire one additional shard with each action you spend. |
