Stage	Effect
1	A throbbing pain radiates from the affected areas, distracting you from your surroundings. You have disadvantage on all Wisdom and Intelligence checks.
2	The affected sites swell and the pain spreads to a greater area around the wound. You have -2 penalty to all dexterity checks and saving throws.
3	You are sweating profusely, though you do not have a fever. You require twice as much water per day and your speed is halved.
4	The pain locks your muscles in place. You are Paralyzed.
Cured	Your skin feels tender for the next few days.
