The girdle is cursed, and this curse and it's effect can be revealed with indentify spell or as you wear it. Once character don's the girdle, it will attach itself to the wearer and can be only removed by remove curse spell or similar magic. While cursed, the wearers intelligence stat becomes 5. Rare
