This axe has a mouth etched upon the axe head and the words 'FEED ME' carved into its handle. By touching an axe head of same type to this axe head, the non-magical axe is consumed by the Hungry Hungry Axe. After the Hungry Hungry axe consumes another axe, the Hungry Hungry Axe grows in size (going to handaxe, to battleaxe to greataxe). If a greataxe is fed to the Hungry Hungry axe, another handaxe size Hungry Hungry axe is created. If two Hungry Hungry axes of the same size are within 120ft of each other, the two Hungry Hungry will fight each other is destroyed.
