The wrist crossbow is worn around the wrist, and can be used during combat as an attack. Upon attack, the user rolls and adds their dexterity modifier. Wrist crossbows are generally used by assassins, or melee units that need a small, fast ranged weapon. Reloading this weapon costs 1 bonus action.
