Spreading Freeze
7-level Evocation
You create a chilling bank of frost that surrounds a target of your choice that you can see within range. Three tendrils of rime then extend from the target to as many as three other targets, each of which must be within 30 feet of the first target. A target can be a creature or any object and can be targeted by only one of the tendrils.
A target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 6d8 cold damage and become paralyzed for the duration. At the end of each of its turns, a target can make another Constitution saving throw. On a success, the spell ends on the target.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a slot of 8th level or higher, one additional tendril extends from the first target to another target for each slot above 7th.
