3-level Abjuration
Choose 1 Target that you can see, that target must make a Dexterity Save or be pierced by a chain of pure light that blasts out from an area at most 5ft from you, taking 5d10 damage on a failed save, and piercing through them.
You can decide to make this spell require concentration, with a duration of 1 minute. If you do so, the target can make a Strength Check with a DC of 15, or have their movement reduced to 0. The chain is resistant to non-magical attacks that aren't adamantium, and has 20 hit points.
At higher levels: For every additional level that the spell is cast at, deal an additional 1d10 damage.
