Wondrous Item Legendary (this item requires attunement) [Read the inscription on the sphere while holding it.]

This mysterious item is currently in the hands of Rao. It is a 16-inch spherical orb that has coalescing light flickering inside. Feeling the orb, there is a scripture carved onto the orb. If touched and not attuned, the target will be electrocuted Dex/Acrobatics vs DC 18 [or the current attunner's spell DC) taking 3d6 lightning damage for each turn the sphere is held. Primordial: My power is thine, release my wrath over all!

When attuned, the sphere may hover up to 10 feet away from you, in an area not blocked, or can be held. 8 times per day: Death Bolt (1 action or 1 reaction and not in the same round). In a 60 foot visible range you can see, a bolt of electricity is released from the sphere, towards that target. Target must save vs your spell DC or take 8d6 lightning damage. Call heads or tail, flip a coin. On success, roll 1d8. The bolt moves in the direction based on the 1d8 and if there is a target there, repeat DC and damage. If no target is there, or if the attunner denies that target from getting hit, repeat the 1d8 roll and move FROM that position. Repeat the flip until failure. If there is conductive metal touching the ground (or wires) when the bolt hits or is within 5 feet of it, after the damage, flip another coin. On failure, the bolt is absorbed to the ground or wire. Any lightning or thunder damage targeting the attunner, can be absorbed into the sphere.
