0-level (Cantrip) Evocation
You hurl a cluster of thorns at a creature or object within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d6 piercing damage. A target that is hit must make a strength save or be restrained by flowers and vines that sprout from the thorns. At the start of the targets turn, they can make a strength check to break free of the vines, if they fail they take an additional 1d4 bludgeoning damage.
At higher levels: This spell's damage increases by 1d6 and 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d6 and 2d4), 11th level (3d6 and 3d4), and 17th level (4d6 and 4d4).
