Wondrous Item semi-sentient spellcasting focus
Legendary (this item requires attunement) [To attune to the Grand Tome, one must write a contract with the tome on the inside cover. The tome will accept the contract if it is able. Once the contract is accepted, only the written ways of breaking the contract (or dieing) will end service.]
This item counts towards Caramon's Enchanted set bonus.
Caramon, Lord of Magic, crafted a set of items to be able to withstand the intense magics he was interested in researching. This tome abides by the contract used to attune. If the contract is accepted, the lettering in the contract sinks into the pages and turns a deep red. This ink cannot be removed by any means, magical or otherwise. When the contract is ended, the tome resets to a pristine condition; no ink or marks from its previous uses remains. It has been known to grant mysterious and weird contracts to those who know what to ask for.
When attuned to this, this tome can act as a spellcasting focus.
Caramon's Tome has a dark leather binding and yellowing pages. The front and back covers are embossed with a silver triangle.
