The simple longbow, or simple bow, is a combat weapon that is used to great success on the battlefield, having a draw weight of between 80 to 140 pounds depending on construction. A simple bow is relatively easy to get and not too expensive. The simple bow is a bit longer than the shortbow but not quite the girth of a longbow. It's made from one piece of wood and has a draw weight of 30-50 pounds depending on the type of wood. It's cross section is oval.
