Description
The pavise is a special kind of shield that isn't really worn nor carried. It's intended purpose is to be mounted and then used as a portable cover for archers and crossbowmen. It is a very large shield, almost the full height of an adult illim and is wide enough to hide behind while reloading a crossbow. It has a characteristic crease in the middle, allowing it to be more stable.
