Your existence is due to an unholy union between a Fay and a Kykr, or maybe one of your parents was fay-blooded. The trait's value determines how strong your fay ancestry is and how much it shows. Fay-bloods are usually called foul-bloods as a derogatory term and they are highly disliked and in some cases even persecuted. Unless you have someone to back you up, you may find yourself discriminated against or even be falsely incarcerated. While fay-blooded is listed as a positive trait, it will without doubt be a bad reputation if people identify your ancestry or know of it.
+1: Three generations back, someone in your line was a fay, and you have some fay blood in you. It's barely enough to show, but you can certainly feel it. You have an unnatural connection to the wilderness and you can see the fay more easily than others, as well as sense their magics. Add this trait to any Perception or Mysticism checks for detecting fay or fay magic.
+2: Two generations back, one of your grandparents was a fay. The fay blood is strong enough to give you visible fay traits, depending on the species of fay. It could be black irises, scaly or bark-like spots on the skin. You have a strong connection to the wild, and like above, you add this trait to any Perception and Mysticism checks regarding fay.
+3: One of your parents was a fay. You are half-fay and it's very obvious. You have real trouble hiding your ancestry, and depending on your fay species you could have entirely black eyes with no sclera, bark-like skin across your entire back and the top of your arms. You could leave a glittering trail in the air after you as you move. Sometimes your hair will waft as if in a wind, even without a trace of any wind. Like above, you add this trait to any Perception or Mysticism checks involving fay. In addition, your fay-blood is strong enough to allow you to use fay magic. You learn these like any other supernatural abilities and you use this trait whenever you are casting fay magic.
+4: You have the blood of the Inuelweri in you. At least one of your parents was of the inu and you carry the royal blood Ayla herself in you. You can see fay magic strands and sense magical strong points, identify fay magic spells cast on a person or area, as well as use this trait to detect fay magic or fay themselves that are trying to hide.
Your ancestry is easier to hide than those of weaker fay-blood as the inu are quite like the Vindral. Your skin has a pale, grayish-white tone, and the iris of your eyes is orange. Your hair (or fur) is likely white, with yellow or orange tips. You leave a faint smell of spring forest in the air as you walk, and your hair always wafts as if in a light breeze, no matter where you are. You appear to almost float as you walk, as you stride lightly on your toes, and you have to consciously try and suppress the urge to do so. In order to avoid trotting on your toes, you must succeed a check against this trait, reversed.
You can learn and use fay magic and like above, you may use this trait when casting fay magic and add it to any Perception and Mysticism checks regarding fay.
