Their people have reveled in ancient forests since the stars were fresh in the sky, and the sun and moon were not yet born. They can see in dim light within 20 meters of themselves as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. They can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of the color of their skin. They have proficiency in the Perception skill. They have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put them to sleep. They don’t need to sleep; that would be such a dreadful waste of time. Instead, they enter reverie, meditating deeply and remaining semiconscious for 4 hours a day. While meditating, they can come up with 5 ways to indirectly imply to the King that if he doesn't give you his favorite horse as a half birthday gift, spiders will steal his dreams. Such considerations are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, they gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
