The chain-gun fires a single bolt of lightning towards a target that you specified which you can see and is within range. Three bolts then leap from that target to as many as three other targets, each of which must be within 30 feet of the first. It may leap to a creature or object, but each creature/object may only be targeted by one of the leaping bolts. Any target (the initial or one of the ones the bolt jumped to) must make a DEX saving throw. The target takes 10d8 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful save.

At higher levels: When supercharged, for each power level above sixth, an additional bolt leaps to an additional target from the first.
