Haunted Bagpipe
Instrument Legendary (this item requires attunement) [Bard]
This bagpipe is haunted by the spirit of Nikalar the Smiling. He grants bards he finds worthy access to it powers. Others are haunted by him until they pass the bagpipe along to another bard. Without Nikalar's accept it is impossible to become attuned to the bagpipe. Once attuned Nikalar helps the bard by granting him access to increasing power as the bard himself gains more power.
Anyone who is not attuned to the bagpipe and tries to play them gets a -10 penalty to Perform.
The bagpipe grants you advantage on Arcana and History checks while it is within 30 ft of you.
You can use an action to play the bagpipe and cast one of its spells. Once the bagpipe has been used to cast a spell, it can’t be used to cast that spell again until the next dawn. The available spells depend on your level as shown in the table below. The spells use your spellcasting ability and spell save DC.
